SlothHosting - Terms of Service

Welcome to SlothHosting. By using our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms of Service (“ToS”). Please read them carefully. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not use our services.
1. Use of Services
SlothHosting provides hosting services for Minecraft, game servers, and general-purpose applications.
You are responsible for all activity conducted on your server and account.
You agree to use our services legally, responsibly, and in accordance with these terms.
2. Prohibited Uses
You agree NOT to use SlothHosting services for any of the following activities.
Violation of any item may result in immediate suspension or termination, loss of data, and no refund.
2.1 Malicious or Harmful Activities
You may not:
- Upload, host, distribute, or operate malware, viruses, trojans, worms, backdoors, ransomware, or keyloggers
- Run botnets, command-and-control (C2) servers, exploit kits, or payload distribution points
- Perform DoS/DDoS attacks, packet flooding, or any network disruption
- Engage in phishing, credential harvesting, or social engineering
2.2 Unauthorized Network Activity
Unless you have explicit written permission from the target organization, you may not:
- Perform network scanning, port scanning, web scanning, or internet-wide scanning
- Conduct vulnerability scanning (e.g., Nessus, OpenVAS, Nmap automation)
- Perform penetration testing, exploitation, or reconnaissance
- Run OSINT mass harvesting or automated intelligence-gathering tools
- Intercept or capture traffic not intended for your server
2.3 Illegal or Unlicensed Content
You may not host or distribute:
- Cracked, nulled, pirated, or unlicensed software, plugins, mods, scripts, or game files
- Copyright-infringing content or stolen digital assets
- Any content illegal under UK, EU, or US law, including but not limited to:
- CSAM
- extremist or terrorist content
- stolen data
- illegally obtained personal information
2.4 Resource-Intensive or Abusive Workloads
You may not run:
- Cryptocurrency mining
- Proof-of-Work hashing or distributed compute tasks
- AI training, GPU/CPU compute farms, or ML workloads
- Bandwidth-saturating services (file mirrors, download servers)
- High-frequency bots or automation systems intended to overload resources
- Any process designed for sustained maximum CPU, RAM, disk, or network usage
2.5 Abuse of Hosting Infrastructure
You may not:
- Bypass, disable, or tamper with system or network security
- Modify network configurations to impersonate other users
- Attempt to access other users’ servers, accounts, or data
- Resell, lease, or subdivide services without explicit written approval
2.6 Spam & Network Misuse
You may not operate:
- Bulk email or spam systems
- SMS spam services or robocall tools
- Open proxies, open relays, or anonymizers for illegal activities
- Services used to conduct fraud, impersonation, or misleading activity
2.7 Game-Server Related Restrictions
For Minecraft, Rust, FiveM, and all game servers, you may not:
- Upload or distribute pirated or unauthorized plugins, paid assets, or proprietary files
- Run intentional crashers, exploit testers, or malicious tools
- Host content that violates a game publisher’s End User License Agreement (EULA)
3. Resource Abuse
SlothHosting strictly prohibits resource abuse, including any activity that excessively consumes CPU, RAM, disk, or network resources and impacts other users.
3.1 Examples of Resource Abuse
- Sustained or maxed-out CPU usage
- Excessive inbound or outbound bandwidth
- Processes designed for continuous maximum usage
- Cryptocurrency mining
- Compute-heavy AI or ML workloads
3.2 Monitoring and Enforcement
SlothHosting uses automated monitoring systems that may inspect:
- File names and hashes for blacklisted software
- Unusual processes
- High or abnormal CPU/network activity
Your service may be automatically suspended without prior notice if flagged.
3.3 False Positives
False positives can occur. If you believe your suspension was an error:
We will review your case and may reinstate your service if incorrectly flagged.
4. Account Suspension and Termination
If you violate these Terms:
- Your account may be immediately suspended or terminated
- No refunds will be issued
- All data, files, and configurations may be permanently deleted
- You may be banned from creating new accounts
5. Refund Policy
- Refunds may be requested only within the first seven (7) days after your first purchase
- After 7 days, no refunds will be issued under any circumstances
- Refund requests must be submitted via our official ticketing system
- All purchases after the refund window are final and non-refundable
6. Credits and Billing
- Payments are converted into non-transferable service credits
- Credits hold no real-world monetary value
- Unused credits do not expire but remain non-refundable
7. Fake Reviews
You may not:
- Post or commission fake, misleading, or fraudulent reviews
- Create multiple accounts to influence feedback
- Review services you have not used
Violations may result in suspension or termination.
8. Payment Disputes & Chargebacks
8.1 Payment Disputes
Before beginning a payment dispute, you must contact SlothHosting support and allow reasonable time for resolution.
8.2 Chargebacks
You agree not to initiate a chargeback without contacting SlothHosting first.
If a chargeback is initiated without prior communication, SlothHosting may:
- Immediately suspend all services
- Permanently terminate your account if the chargeback is not withdrawn
- Delete all associated data and credits
- Assign the unpaid balance and chargeback fees to a collections agency
- Ban future purchases and account creation
8.3 Validity of Payments
By purchasing from SlothHosting, you acknowledge:
- All payments are final after the 7-day refund period
- Service dissatisfaction, misuse, or misconfiguration does not justify chargebacks
- Credits cannot be refunded or converted to money
8.4 Fraudulent Chargebacks
A chargeback filed for any reason other than legitimate payment fraud is considered payment fraud against SlothHosting.
We reserve the right to report fraudulent activity to payment processors and relevant authorities.
9. Limitation of Liability
SlothHosting is not liable for:
- Loss of data
- Loss of revenue
- Business interruption
- Indirect or consequential damages
Backups are provided as a convenience only and are not guaranteed.
Users must maintain their own off-site backups.
Data loss may occur, and you acknowledge that maintaining copies of your own data is your responsibility.
10. Changes to Terms
SlothHosting may modify these Terms at any time.
We may notify users of significant updates, but it is your responsibility to review the ToS regularly.
Continued use of the service indicates acceptance of updated terms.
